York Kia, located at 1305 Roosevelt Ave. in York, donated $2,000 to the? PA Breast Cancer Coalition as part of a month-long campaign to raise support for the organization, according to Kevin Smith, the communications director for the
Breast Cancer Coalition.
During March, York Kia held a ?Ladies Month? promotion to raise awareness and education about breast cancer in the state. As a part of this promotion, York Kia donated $50 from each new car sold to the group.
The Breast Cancer Coalition ?represents, supports and serves breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania through educational programming, legislative advocacy and breast cancer research grants,? according to their website.
Definitely a worthy cause and great example of a company giving back to the community.
